# Pluto - Health Routing

There are 3 "tanks" you need to pass in this stage. Taking damage from them is 8 HP each (3x8=24), and you only have 19 HP.

Keep this in mind as you go through the stage and decide for your skill level how to proceed.

The second tank has a falling beam that only does 2 HP, which you can use to dboost through.

The third tank is after Protoman, so there is a reasonable chance you will have either full health or a large health drop on the screen before it.

If you want certainty, you can use Mercury's weapon in the second half of the stage to refill, just keep in mind thisloses time, and you need Mercury to use against Pluto.

# Pluto - Midboss Strats

The Pluto midboss is a drilling machine that con only be damage on its "non-drill" side.

### Tango Strat

**WALK INTO THE SCREEN TRANSITION.** The initial slide depends on the positioning of walking in, not jumping in. (Sliding might be okay too).

Equip Tango and hold charge, Then neutral slide once. Release the Tango charge (to summon the cat) immediately after sliding and hold down.

The primary reason to use this strat is to save Neptune ammo, though it is very fast.

### Neptune Strat

The Neptune strat is the classic one and easy to execute, but it uses 4 Neptune Ammo. Usually you'll want to save it, but it's possible Proto Man will just give you an S Capsule anyway.

Slide up and get 2 direct hits on the under side with Neptune. That's it, that's the strat.
